Responding to the DfE Call for Evidence on screen use by 5–16 year olds
I have submitted a response to the Department for Education’s Call for Evidence on screen use by children aged 5 to 16.
The response draws on my research with young people and families — including the work with 46 young people aged 8 to 21 on the Growing Up in the Online World consultation, and my ongoing longitudinal work with Project CAISE — alongside the wider empirical literature on children’s screen and technology use.
